Currently, Brandenburg Labs is marketing advanced headphone systems to customers in the field of music production and to scientific institutions. In the future, these headphones will also be available for the premium consumer market. Brandenburg Labs’ long-term goal is to market intelligent headphones for enhanced hearing. For this vision, we are looking for an experienced electrical engineer, with experience in embedded systems, to support us in creating a revolutionary new immersive audio headphone system.
Your responsibilities
- You will create the concept and prototype for the electronics of our new headphone system, including wireless transmission, novel positional tracking, HDMI eARC, USB connectivity and more.
- You will be in contact with our partners and work closely with other members of the engineering team, to create a truly innovative product with us.
Your profile – What we need
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related subjects
- Excellent expertise in Electrical Engineering including PCB design
- Proven experience in releasing a product to market
- Previous experience in the conception of complex circuits and products
- Low level programming skills in C
- Familiarity with Linux
- Experience in working with SoCs and CAD
- Outstanding problem understanding and problem-solving skills
- Optional experience in antenna design
- Passion for audio technologies and acoustics
- Proactive communication, both in the team and with partners
- Proficient in the English language, optionally in German
